Join us tonight for New Orleans Center for Creative Arts’ annual spring Student Jazz Ensemble concert, showcasing the best of New Orleans’ next musicians!
Countless musicians among your list of New Orleans favorites are graduates — including many of Snug Harbor’s resident artists today — of the esteemed NOCCA school, and they were once a part of an annual spring student ensemble just like tonight’s concert.
Notable NOCCA alumni of this program include Branford Marsalis, Wynton Marsalis, Delfeayo Marsalis, Jason Marsalis, Terence Blanchard, Donald Harrison Jr, Harry Connick Jr, Wendell Pierce, Xian aTunde Adjuah (formerly Christian Scott), Joe Dyson, Joel Dyson, and many more.
