Mahmoud “Mood” Chouki is a Moroccan master guitarist, multi-instrumentalist, composer and educator currently living and working in New Orleans. His art draws together music from around the globe, exploring how music may speak across cultural divides. In addition to training and performing with conservatories around the world, Chouki also teaches music at the Lycée Français de la Nouvelle Orléans and is the music curator for monthly programs at the New Orleans Museum of Art. Most recently, he composed the music score for the 2021 Sundance Award winning film, “Ma Belle, Ma Beauty,” directed by New Orleans based filmmaker, Marion Hill. Also in 2021, Chouki was awarded 2020’s “Best Emerging Artist” by OffBeat Magazine’s annual Best of the Beat Awards. His New World Ensemble has been steadily wow’ing audiences for the past year, growing in with acclaim.

All dinner table reservations must be attached to advance concert tickets. Dinner Service without Advance Concert Tickets is first-come, first-served based on availability upon arrival. Simply forward your E-ticket Confirmation to info@snugjazz.com with your dinner table request, and you will receive a reply within 24 business hours.
Full Bar is Open 6pm – Midnight for all, on show nights, with or without tickets.
Kind Reminder: Snug Harbor does not serve food inside the Music Room. In order to preserve the integrity, quiet and focus of our world class intimate concerts, only cocktails and soft drinks are available for table service inside the Music Room. However, we encourage you to arrive 90 Minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for the show. 8pm ticket holders can also enjoy dinner, dessert or appetizers after the show, with Dining Room seating only guaranteed by submitting your table request before 8pm.
