Direct from Cuba! Jorge Luis Pacheco returns to New Orleans…
Cuba has long shared its great cultural riches with the world, including some of the most incredible pianists on the planet. A fresh new face has emerged and is making waves with his “flying hands” – Jorge Luis Pacheco has a unique style that presents a new voice in jazz. His untethered, creative, emotionally profound and technically virtuous artistry are steeped in his unrelenting love of improvisation… in his lyrical, poetic, musical soul and the discipline of his deep classical training.
Hailing from Havana, Cuba – this fiery young talent is fast becoming a seasoned veteran, having performed at some of the most respected venues in the world. From Dizzy’s Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York to the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. Pacheco wowed the crowd at New York’s Blue Note Jazz Festival and gained notoriety at the legendary Apollo Theater for the Lifetime Achievement Award ceremonies presented to living legend Herbie Hancock. He has collaborated with the likes of Wynton Marsalis and the JLCO, Arturo O’Farrill and the legendary Lenny White, as well as Dave Weckl and Richie Goods, among others. Whether solo piano or with his quartet or trio, Pacheco is staking his energetic claim in the jazz world.

All dinner table reservations must be attached to advance concert tickets. Dinner Service without Advance Concert Tickets is first-come, first-served based on availability upon arrival. Full Bar is Open 6pm – Midnight for all on show nights, with or without tickets.
Kind Reminder: Snug Harbor does not serve food inside the Music Room. In order to preserve the integrity, quiet and focus of our world class intimate concerts, only cocktails and soft drinks are available for table service inside the Music Room. However, we encourage you to arrive 90 Minutes prior to your showtime in order to enjoy full, relaxing dinner service in the Dining Room right next door, before getting seated in the Music Room for the show. 8pm ticket holders can also enjoy dinner, dessert or appetizers after the show, with Dining Room seating only guaranteed by submitting your table request before 8pm.

All performances are currently sold at 2/3 the normal audience capacity, creating an even more intimate listening experience, yet still maintaining a certain level of social distancing. Covid mandates are honored with *masks now optional* for all, and seating more distanced than our usual. As announced by the City of New Orleans, as of March 24th, neither Covid vaccination cards nor negative tests are required for venue entry.
However, with our limited seating capacity, advance tickets are strongly suggested!
