BON BON VIVANT! wsg Al “Carnival Time” Johnson

Sun February 19 @ 8:00 pm

Celebrate Bacchus Sunday ~ the Sunday before Lundi Gras and Mardi Gras ~ with us and one of our favorite bands, who got their start inspired New Orleans street music!

Bon Bon Vivant (BBV) is an indie band from New Orleans that electrifies audiences across the country with their signature blend of jazz, americana, dark ballads, and up-tempo indie dance-rock. The genre-bending band’s original songs are joyous, fierce, honest, and heartbreaking all at once, as they chronicle life and all it entails through the sounds of the minor keys.

Named “Best Emerging Artist” by the 2018 OffBeat Magazine Best of the Beat Awards, BBV tours regularly spreading the gospel of decadence and revelry with their infectious live shows that often feel like a storyville time warp. When not on the road, the band is currently working on their second studio album, the follow-up to their 2016 record, Paint & Pageantry, and playing select spots around the city they love.
